Step 1: Go to Settings in your site's dashboard and click on eCommerce settings.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Customize your checkout section and enable the phone number collection toggle switch. It is recommended to click the Mandatory field checkbox next to the phone number field to ensure that customers provide a valid phone number.

Step 3: Scroll down to the Subscription Checkbox section and click the Subscription Checkbox toggle to enable it. It is recommended to keep the subscription checkbox checked by default.

Step 4: Further scroll down to the Checkout Policies section. If you already have Terms and Conditions enabled on the checkout page, please add an additional term stating “By subscribing to email/sms notifications, you also agree to receive notifications on WhatsApp."
Step 5: Alternatively, you can create a custom policy by clicking on the “Create your own custom policy” button. Create a policy named “WhatsApp Optin” and in the policy description, mention that “By subscribing to email/sms notifications, you also agree to receive notifications on WhatsApp.”

Step 6: Once you have completed all the steps successfully, your checkout page should look similar to the example provided.
