SuperLemon pricing explained: plans, message charges, and billing

SuperLemon has three plans. Every plan includes the WhatsApp chat & share widgets and core analytics; paid plans add automation from your own WhatsApp Business API number and, on Scale, bulk marketing campaigns.

Plans

  • Free — $0/month. 50+ chat & share widget designs, up to 100 manual template messages per month (abandoned cart + order notifications), WhatsApp Web Copilot Chrome extension, customer profiles, and opt-in widgets. Best for stores doing up to ~10 orders/month.
  • Brand — $19.99/month + message charges. Everything in Free, plus a private WhatsApp Business API number for your brand, WhatsApp Coexistence support, automated abandoned cart / order confirmation / shipment / COD messages, editable templates in 10+ languages, auto-generated discount codes, Shopify Flow integration, unlimited manual messages, Judge.me & Loox review automation, WhatsApp Inbox, and live onboarding support.
  • Scale — $29.99/month + message charges. Everything in Brand, plus WhatsApp marketing campaigns, campaign scheduling, custom marketing templates (including carousels), and Shopify Segments integration for targeting.

WhatsApp message charges

The WhatsApp Business API is a paid service from Meta — every message delivered through it is charged, on top of your SuperLemon subscription. With SuperLemon it's simple: one price per message, whatever the template type. The rate depends only on the recipient's country (like SMS) — see the per-message rate card.

Billing mechanics

  • Subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Check them anytime under Shopify admin → Settings → Billing.
  • Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Message charges still apply during the trial, because Meta bills for every delivered template message.
  • You can switch plans anytime; charges are pro-rated for the days you used each plan.

Why use WhatsApp if it costs more than email? Open and response rates on WhatsApp are far higher than email, and merchants typically see strong return on abandoned-cart and COD flows alone. Start with order-update automations and add marketing campaigns once your opt-in list grows.
