Spin the Wheel: collect WhatsApp opt-ins with a discount popup
Spin the Wheel is a gamified popup: visitors enter their WhatsApp number, spin, and win a discount code — delivered to their WhatsApp. You capture a marketing opt-in and open a conversation, and the customer gets a reason to complete their purchase.
Set it up
- Go to WhatsApp Widgets → Opt-in Widgets.
- On the Spin the Wheel tile, click Configure Widget.
- Configure the wheel segments and discounts, colors, and display rules (which pages, delay, exit intent).
- Save and test in an incognito window.
Tips
- Keep 2–3 winning segments with small discounts rather than one big one — more winners means more opt-ins and more completed checkouts.
- The discount lands in the customer's WhatsApp, so your follow-up messages (cart reminder with the code) feel natural, not cold.
