If you're a solo operator or run a small team, there's a good chance you are your own support agent. You handle messages while you're between warehouse runs, in a meeting, or on the subway. The old Superlemon inbox was not built for that. On mobile, it was a struggle — layout issues, unresponsive text input, clunky conversation switching. We've fixed it.
Why Mobile Matters for WhatsApp Support
Most support tools are built with a desktop agent in mind — someone sitting at a workstation with a full keyboard and a large screen. But Shopify store owners don't work like that. A lot of you are running your store while doing five other things. When a customer sends a message, you need to be able to respond from wherever you are.
For teams where one person covers support, or where the store owner jumps in to handle escalations, being tied to a desktop for WhatsApp replies creates a gap between a customer sending a message and getting a reply. On WhatsApp, that gap costs you.
What Changed

The inbox now has a fully responsive layout. On a phone, the conversation list, the chat thread, and the reply input all adapt to a smaller screen. Text input works as you'd expect — tap, type, send. Switching between conversations is smooth, without the layout breaking or content sliding off-screen.

How to Open Superlemon on Your Phone
You can use the Shopify Admin app to log in to Superlemon on your phone — no separate app to install.
- Open the Shopify Admin app on your phone.
- Tap Apps and select SL: Marketing and WhatsApp Support.
- Superlemon opens with you already logged in.
Practical Difference for Small Teams
If you have a two-person support team and one of them is travelling, or if you manage the inbox yourself alongside everything else, mobile access changes what's possible. It's the difference between replying to a customer in five minutes and replying the next morning. You don't have to be at a desk to stay on top of your queue.
