On the Brand and Scale plans, SuperLemon sets up a WhatsApp Business API account for your own number using Meta's embedded signup — a guided flow that takes about 10–20 minutes. SuperLemon partners with Gupshup, a Meta Business Solution Provider, to host your account.

Before you start, have ready

• A phone number that can receive an SMS or voice OTP (see which numbers are eligible);
• Your Meta (Facebook) login;
• Admin access to your Meta business portfolio (you can create one during signup);
• Your legal business name, address, website, and the display name customers will see.

Choose your setup path

In SuperLemon, open the WhatsApp setup and pick one:

1. Use WhatsApp Business App + API on the same number (Coexistence) — keep your existing app and chats; select "Connect your existing Business App" during the Meta signup. Details →
2. Use a new, separate number — register a number exclusively for the API. Don't install WhatsApp on it; you'll read and reply to every message in SuperLemon's WhatsApp Inbox.
3. Migrate from another provider — move your existing API number from another BSP to SuperLemon; our support team assists with the handover.

The signup flow

1. Log in with Meta and accept the terms.
2. Connect or create your Meta business portfolio.
3. Enter your business details, phone number and display name.
4. Verify the number by OTP (SMS or voice call).
5. Done — SuperLemon finishes provisioning automatically (usually minutes). If anything fails, see signup errors & fixes.

After setup

• You can message up to 250 unique customers per 24 hours to start. Complete Meta business verification to unlock 1,000/day and automatic scaling beyond.
• Optionally apply for the blue verified checkmark.
